Look what just came to my inbox: the recording of my StorySlam performance a couple of months ago, at the WBUR CitySpace in Boston!
After years of listening to The Moth Radio Hour, I finally mustered up enough courage to go see the StorySlam live event — and put my name in the hat for a chance to tell my story.
I was randomly picked as one of 10 storytellers to share our stories. A very nervous me told my story to a roomful of audience.
To my utter surprise, I won! And I’ll be joining 9 other StorySlam winners in the next GrandSlam!
